The Trans Euro Trail (TET ) is a network of motorcycle adventure routes that covers the whole of Europe. Designed for two-wheeled adventurers who want to get off the beaten track and explore Europe independently, the TET is a unique experience that offers the chance to experience some of the most remote, unspoiled and spectacular areas of the continent. In this article, we'll explore whatTET is, how it came to be, and what you can expect from the experience of riding this epic motorcycle tour.

What is the TET Trans Euro Trail

Origins of the TET

The Trans Euro Trail (TET) was conceived by a group of adventure motorcycle enthusiasts who wanted to explore Europe on their motorcycle in a deeper and more meaningful way than just riding the main roads. They felt that the best way to do it was through a network of adventure routes that would take them to the most remote and interesting places in Europe.

Starting in 2015, the group began work on creating the TET route, which originally started in Portugal and ended in Estonia. In 2017, the route network was expanded to include a route in Italy, increasing the total length of the TET to more than 38,000 kilometers.

Today, the TET route network spans 45 countries across Europe and has more than 70,000 kilometers of motorcycle trails. The idea behind TET is to offer a way to explore Europe on a motorbike, with a route that covers most of the countries in Europe and can be customized to suit the individual needs and abilities of each motorcycle adventurer.
